The 2017 Ford Super Duty load wheeler truck has now gone high tech in the line of duty. According to a video released by the American automaker, the pickup truck can now handle immense load with a tow rating of at least 31,500 pounds.
The 2017 Ford Super Duty is equipped with 6.7 litre Power Stroke diesel engine. The truck will now assist drivers through its adaptive cruise control that can apply engine brakes even with a load of 31,500 pounds. This Ford Super Duty monster has a collision warning system among its 17 advanced high-tech features.
Adaptive steering, BoxLink with premium locking cleats, blind spot information system with trailer coverage, factory-installed customer-placed trailer camera, multi-contour front seats with Active Motion, inflatable rear outboard safety belts power-deployable running boards, PowerScope power-telescoping and power-folding trailer tow mirrors, standard flat load floor on SuperCab and Crew Cab, remote tailgate release with power lock, stowable loading ramps, tailgate step, SYNC 3, trailer reverse guidance, utility lighting system and trailer tire pressure monitoring system are some of the other worth mentioning features of the Ford Super Duty giant.
In addition to the adaptive cruise control, an advanced adaptive steering technology will also assist drivers in manipulating the steering torque required at low speeds. The steering input sensitivity at higher speeds will also be regulated enabling the loaded ride to tow massive weights effectively.
