The 2017 New York International Auto Show is just around the corner and the German luxury automaker has announced it will launch the 2018 Audi TT RS at the show. The price starts at $64,900 (plus $975 destination fee).
The 2018 Audi TT RS will be the most powerful TT built up till now. It will house a 2.5L five-cylinder engine, which will develop 400 horsepower and 354 lb.-ft of torque. The four-wheel drive system will be available as standard. The engine is reportedly featuring a magnesium oil pan and an aluminum block, which keeps the weight 57 pounds lesser than the unit on previous TT RS.
Mated to the engine is the Audi seven-speed S Tronic transmission system, which will allow the TT RS to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds.
On the inside, the 2018 Audi TT RS boasts Alcantara and leather seats along with the latest Audi virtual cockpit and a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system. On the other hand, the exterior will feature unique 19-inch five-arm Galvano silver wheels, full LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, aluminum race inlays and more.
It will arrive here in the Middle East shortly after its launch in the international market.
