The 2021 Cadillac Escalade is here boasting many industry-first technologies, enhanced driving dynamics, more luxury, and notably superior passenger and cargo spaces than ever before. In fact, the 2021 model is completely revamped from the ground-up to offer owners a refined driving experience.

Industry-Firsts
Talking about the industry-first cutting-edge features, the curved OLED display provides over 38 inches of total diagonal display area, with double the pixel density of a 4K television. There are three displays: “a 7.2-inch-diagonal touch control panel driver information center to the driver’s left, a 14.2-inch-diagonal cluster display behind the steering wheel, and a 16.9-inch-diagonal Infotainment screen to the driver’s right.”
In addition, the 2021 Cadillac Escalade offers all-new, available Augmented Reality-enabled navigation delivering live street views together with Surround Vision to render a 2-megapixel bird’s eye view of the imagery around the SUV.
Besides, we can get an optional Trailering Integration Package featuring nine camera views (including rear camera guidelines), an integrated trailer brake controller, and a trailering app. The latter lets you view and manage trailer profiles, tire pressure and temperature monitoring.
Another Industry-first is AKG audio technology boasting a 36-speaker AKG Studio Reference system, coupled with Conversation Enhancement employing microphones and AKG speakers for front- and rear-passenger communication.
Safety
Keeping its focus on the safety of the passengers and others on the road, the 2021 Cadillac Escalade offers a number of standard and available active safety facilities. We are talking about Front and Rear Park Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Detection, and Braking, Rear Pedestrian Detection, Safety Alert Seat, Forward Collision Alert, Adaptive Park Assist, Head-Up Display, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Night Vision, Adaptive Cruise Control – Advanced, Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, Reverse Automatic Braking and Automatic Safety Belt Tightening.
In the GCC, Cadillac is also offering OnStar – General Motor’s leading in-vehicle safety and security technology. Those who will subscribe to this service will be able to benefit from the Automatic Crash Response, the Stolen Vehicle Assistance, and the OnStar ‘Connect’ subscription plan. The latter offers the Remote Key Fob, On-Demand Diagnostics, etc.
Performance Enhancements
To make driving fun and poised, Cadillac has made numerous changes in the chassis including an all-new independent rear suspension, Cadillac’s signature Magnetic Ride Control, new Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, and an electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD).
The 2021 Cadillac Escalade is powered by a new 6.2L V8 mill featuring variable valve timing, stop/start and Dynamic Fuel Management technologies. The engine generates 420 hp (313 kW) and mates to a 10-speed automatic transmission with electronic shift control.
Those who will put down cash to buy this luxury SUV will be able to enjoy 5 years warranty, 4 years roadside assistance, and service and maintenance. The pricing details are not revealed yet. However, we can tell the 2021 model will be more expensive than the outgoing Escalade, which starts at AED 369,900.
