The Lexus RC F came in 2014 to rival the likes of BMW M4, AMG C63, and Audi RS5. For 2020, the Japanese luxury automaker upped the ante by introducing the 2020 RC F Track Edition and now the company has introduced the 2021 Lexus RC F Fuji Speedway Edition. Only 60 units will be built just as the automaker did for Track Edition.
The 2021 Fuji Speedway Edition comes with the same naturally aspirated 5.0L V8 creating 472 horsepower (351 kilowatts) and 535 Newton-meters of torque as is available in its predecessor. However, there are a number of tweaks that enhance its performance and reduce its weight such as Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, a titanium exhaust, and lots of carbon fiber around the exterior. The Speedway can accelerate to 96 kilometers per hour in only 3.96 seconds.
Lexus is offering it in two colors: Arctic Blast Satin or Cloudburst Gray. On the inside, it has Circuit Red leather-trimmed seats with Alcantara accents, red carbon fiber trimming, and a MSTR watch with a gunmetal bezel.
The 2021 Lexus RC F Fuji Speedway comes equipped with Android Auto in addition to Amazon Alexa and Apple CarPlay support. Other salient facilities comprise of blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, heated exterior mirrors, and a memory driver’s seat function.
The pricing details will be revealed closer to the launch.
