So, the rumors were correct; the 2021 Mazda CX-30 Turbo makes its official US debut offering 250 horsepower, which is 64 ponies more than the standard model. However, to unlock the true potential of the sporty crossover, you need to fill the tank with 93 octane. Use lower grade 87 octane and the power dips to 227 ponies and 310 lb-ft of torque. The 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder engine mates to an all-wheel-drive and a tweaked suspension to offer energetic performance.

The new 2021 Mazda CX-30 Turbo comes with fresh driver-assist and safety facilities such as Traffic Jam Assist, 360-degree view, and Smart City Brake Support Reverse with Rear Cross-Traffic Braking, which works at speeds between 2 mph and 4 mph.

Other things that make it different from the standard model are 18-inch black aluminum wheels, gloss black door mirrors, bigger exhaust pipes, and a turbo badge at the rear gate.

The pricing details aren’t revealed yet, but our good guess is a $30,000 starting point. The deliveries will start in the first quarter of next year.
