No doubt, the Toyota Hilux is a highly accomplished pickup truck, but some people out there always find a way to make things more skillful. Arctic Trucks has done it again with the new 2021 Toyota Hilux AT35 making it better off the road.
For this purpose, they used the Hilux Invincible X model and modified it in many ways to enhance its off-road credentials. For instance, Arctic Trucks improved the ground clearance 65 millimeters (2.6 inches) as well as the approach and departure angles by nine and three degrees, respectively.
Furthermore, the company installed 17-inch wheels with chunky 35-inch BFGoodrich KO2 All-Terrain tires. To further improve the 2021 Toyota Hilux AT35 off-road capabilities, they updated Bilstein suspension with custom springs and dampers at the front, in addition to a modified anti-roll bar and altered rear dampers with stretched shackles.
Other changes include the suspension lift, altered front and rear differential, a rear height bar with a built-in receiver hitch, a few anniversary labels to revel 30 years of the company’s existence, and extended side steps.
Under the hood is the stock four-cylinder 2.8-liter turbodiesel mill good for 201 horsepower and 500 Newton-meters (369 pound-feet) of torque from 1,600 rpm.
The 2021 Toyota Hilux AT35 is accessible through Toyota UK dealers starting at £18,780 plus value-added tax (VAT), and the donor truck.
