The Japanese luxury automaker has revealed the pricing details of the 2021 Lexus IS starting at $39,900 (excluding options and delivery charge) for the base IS 300 rear-wheel-drive model. The only four-cylinder IS in the lineup comes equipped with a turbocharged 2.0L generating 241 horsepower (179 kilowatts) and 250 pound-feet (338 newton-meters) of torque.
Opt for the AWD and beefier engine and the price jumps to $41,000. It houses a 3.5L V6 mill good for 260 hp (194 kW) and 236 lb-ft (319 nm). The range-topping 2021 Lexus IS 350 F Sport with standard F Sport visual package is priced at $42,900 with rear-wheel drive. The AWD adds a $2,000 premium over it. The IS 350 F Sport carries a 3.5L V6 churning out 311 hp (231 kW) and 280 lb-ft (380 nm). Here’s is the full price list:

The surprising thing is that the 2021 Lexus IS is more economical than the outgoing models except for the base model, which witnesses an increase of $1,340. The IS 300 AWD price is reduced by $10 while the IS 350 RWD F Sport is $2,475 more economical. Similarly, the IS 350 AWD F Sport is available on a $1,810 cut-price. Sorry, there is no F Sport option for the base variant.
The standard facilities include LED headlights, push-button start, rain-sensing wipers, Lexus Safety System Plus 2.5 (encompassing automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, lane tracing, and adaptive cruise control), 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa compatibility.
The options list is as follows:

Mark Levinson Audio System | $1,080 |
Triple-Beam LED Headlights | $1,250 |

Comfort Package (300 Only) | $1,950 |

Those looking to benefit from the bigger 10.3-inch touchscreen with navigation have to pay $1,670 more. Those who have deeper pockets can add advanced parking assist, rear automatic emergency braking, navigation, a power moonroof, and wonderful exterior paint.
The most expensive option is accessible entirely for the IS 350 F Sport variants. Seeking more driving pleasures, customers can opt for the new F Sport Dynamic Handling package, which consists of an adaptive suspension and a limited-slip differential on the rear-drive model costing $4,200. The same package for the all-wheel-drive variant amounts $3,800.
Tick every option box on the list and the cost of the 2021 Lexus IS jumps to over $55,000. For reference, the 2020 model of this luxury sedan starts at AED 175,000 (VAT included).
The 2021 Lexus IS will hit the US roads before the end of this year. We also hope to have it in the UAE later this year.
