The 2021 Nissan Altima comes unchanged with a reshuffled lineup wearing the same base price tag.
For 2021 MY, the Altima is again available in five trims namely S, SV, SR, SL, and Platinum but the SR now slots above the SV, so the latter loses a few standard specs such as a moonroof, heated front seats, and Intelligent Lane Intervention. These features are now part of the Premium Package.
The 2021 Nissan Altima now costs $24,300 for the S FWD while the SV FWD is priced at $25,400 (SV AWD at $26,800). The SR FWD sells at $26,200 (SR AWD at $27,600). The SL FWD costs $29,990 ($31,390 for the SL AWD). For reference here, the 2020 Altima starts at AED 94,900.
All the grades are propelled by Nissan’s 2.5L DOHC inline 4-cylinder direct-injection engine generating 188 horsepower (140 kilowatts) and 180 pound-feet (244 Newton-meters) of torque.
The top-of-the-line Platinum comes with an AWD only at a starting price of $34,100. Unfortunately, it does not have a more-robust VC-Turbo engine for the new model.
The 2.0L VC-Turbo engine is now exclusively available for the SR FWD trim increasing its price to $30,650. This mill creates 236 hp (176 kW) and 267 lb-ft (362 Nm) of torque.
The 2021 Nissan Altima is available in the US.
